Saturday, Jul 21

Depart PDX

Depart Portland

  • Group Flight members confirmation code: HNG36X
  • 1:15 pm: Should be starting to leave Salem for the airport.
  • 2:45 pm: Aim to be at PDX for check-in luggage drop-off
  • Delta Flight 36 non-stop to Heathrow – D-concourse
  • 5:13 pm: Flight Departs PDX
  • Be sure to arrive at airport no later than 2:45 pm
  • Arrives Heathrow on 7/22 at 11:10 am

 

Sunday, July 22

Arrive in Worcester

Arrive at Heathrow

  • 11:10 am: Arrival 
  • Clear customs
  • ~12:00 pm: Quick lunch on own at the arrivals area at T3 in Heathrow Here is a map of Heathrow T3
    • There are the following food options in the Arrivals hall after baggage claim/customs: Caffe Nero; M&S Simply Food; Market Gardener & Giraffe Stop
  • ~12:30-1:00 pm: Board Bus to Worcester
  • 3:00 pm: Walking tour of Worcester
  • 5:00 pm: Rest at the hotel
  • 6:30 pm: Group Dinner at Cote Brasserie 100-101 High St Worcester. Menu:
    • Mixed Salad
    • Steak
    • Frites
    • Chocolate Pot
    • 1 Glass Beer/Wine
  • After Dinner: SLEEP

Monday, July 23

First Evensong

First Evensong service

  • Breakfast at the hotel
  • Morning and lunch on own
  • 2:30 pm: If you want to walk as a group to the Cathedral, gather in the hotel lobby. Plan to leave the hotel around 2:35 pm (short walk, but want to give some time to get settled)
